Designing Impact: Engineers in Action Building Bridges to Essential Resources

Students at the University of Alberta are passionate about sparking change and making an impact. U of A student group, Engineers in Action, takes it to the next level with their mission to tackle poverty through one important facet: access.

EIA members are focused on using their talents and skills to bring about positive and long-lasting change to isolated communities in Bolivia through designing and constructing footbridges. These bridges are critical in connecting remote villages to essential resources like healthcare, education, food, and transportation.
