Although jargon and technical language play important roles when we are communicating with others within our discipline, they can often be a barrier to sharing our research more broadly. This session will cover some strategies for making your research communication more accessible to non-specialist audiences. We'll look at research communication as an exercise in translation, and explore how to explain challenging aspects of your research in plain language.
