Join us for a special evening at the brand new TD Terrace building for this annual alumni and friends reception. Dr Bryan Spencer will lead a thought-provoking conversation on how emerging technologies influence work and organizations.

Speaker Info

Bryan Spencer, PhD, MA, BA is an assistant professor of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Management at the Alberta School of Business. Dr. Spencer is an award-winning researcher who studies how technologies influence the way people work and organize. He has conducted extensive fieldwork to study how AI transforms physicians’ practices in hospitals and how cryptocurrencies reshape the decision-making processes of financial traders in markets. He has previously held academic positions in Frankfurt, Germany and Hong Kong.
