Burnout is a concept that emerged and became popular in the 1970s. However, this concept has many scientific, conceptual and psychometric issues, making it impossible to recognize as a disease.
During this hybrid event, Dr. Quentin Durand-Moreau, MD, ME, will present a short historical overview, detail the issues with burnout, and try to provide a practical path for action when facing a patient or a colleague with a work-related mental health issue.
All College of Health Sciences faculty are welcome to attend.
