Join the School of Public Health and the Department of Political Science with the Faculty of Arts for this year’s Douglas R. Wilson Lecture, featuring visiting scholar Dr. Patrick Fafard, co-author of the book Integrating Science and Politics for Public Health.

Dr. Farfard’s talk will examine how bringing together scholars and researchers who work at the intersection of politics and public health can lead to harmony between politics and scientific evidence in policymaking.
Discussion and Q&A
Following the presentation, Dr. Jared Wesley, professor in the Department of Political Science, and Dr. Elaine Hyshka, associate professor in the School of Public Health and Canada Research Chair in Health Systems Innovation, will lead a discussion before inviting questions from the audience.
