MBA Internship Program
Overview
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program includes opportunities for students to participate in an internship over the summer months (May-August). An internship experience allows students to engage in a paid work experience opportunity with a potential employer. An internship provides the opportunity to apply classroom learning in a practical setting.
Benefits
There are several benefits to completing an internship as part of the MBA degree program. For example, students are able to connect with a potential employer and build professional connections to expand their network. Internships allow students to further refine their professional skills that may help them transition in their career.

Eligibility Requirements
- To be eligible for an internship, students must be in good standing in their program and have completed all their required career courses.
- Students are equipped with the skills to apply for internships, they are not placed directed into positions.
Recognition + Compensation
- Students are paid a salary, set by the employer, during their internship. Students typically earn a salary of $25/hr for approximately $3000-5000/month.
Duration, Format + Location
- Most internship experiences are located in Edmonton, however, opportunities in other cities across Canada and internationally may be possible.
