Sharing the U of A Story

We play a leading role in telling the university’s story through meaningful, strategic, and consistent engagement with media outlets and the public, as well as through Folio, the U of A’s daily news site. We also equip researchers and experts with the tools and guidance to translate complex ideas into stories that resonate with a broad audience.

Strategic Advisors to Leadership 

We serve as a strategic voice for university leadership, ensuring our messages are transparent, consistent, accessible and clear. We work closely with internal and external partners to develop proactive, coordinated communications that advance the university’s reputation and ensure alignment in our advocacy, crisis communications, development, and university-wide priority initiatives.

Building Our Internal Community

We work to build a sense of community and belonging among faculty, staff, and students by sharing the unique achievements and priorities of our colleges and faculties. We keep our internal community and external partners informed of university events, student experiences, and the impact of our collective work.
