Description

Palliative care (PC) is a philosophy and approach to care. In this course, students will learn about the role of rehabilitation in PC symptom management, and practice setting goals of care while developing interprofessional competencies, including effective communication and teamwork. Students will interact with peers from the disciplines of occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology in team rounds, and case-based learning activities.
