As a full-time U of A student, you can take fall, winter or full-year courses at more than 140 partner universities in over 30 countries. Grow your confidence and independence as you immerse yourself in a different culture for a few months or a year — all while working toward your degree.
Your perspective and understanding of yourself and others will expand as you meet new friends from different backgrounds, and you’ll have time to explore your passion, whether it be skiing the Alps, surfing off the coast of Australia, experiencing the cherry blossom season in Japan or discovering your ancestral homeland. And if you’re looking to improve your additional language skills, immersion is the way to do it.
Not only can the classes you take on an exchange satisfy a specific course equivalency or general degree requirement, but you pay the same tuition fees that you would pay at U of A. Most students who apply for funding receive it, and some programs even offer financial awards. Opportunities are available year round.
