Loan Periods for U of A patrons
Library Materials Loan Periods Renewals
University of Alberta Library Materials (books, periodicals, kits, maps, puppets and more) Term Loan:
  • Fall Term: due January 31
  • Winter Term: due May 31
  • Spring + Summer Terms: due September 29
 Automatic renewals, up to 24 months
Course Resources Short Term Loans:
  • Most items: 2 hours
  • Robotics: 1 week
  • No holds
 No renewals
Multimedia Technology
(video cameras, cameras, microphones and more)		 72 hours
  • No holds
  • First come, first serve
  • One piece of each type of equipment at a time
  • 30 minute waiting period before borrowing it again
 No renewals
