Ayah Nayfeh, PhD is a Senior Analyst in Global Health Policy at Global Affairs Canada, where she leads Canada’s engagement on reform efforts to strengthen the global health architecture. She previously led Canada’s work on universal health coverage across major multilateral forums, including the World Health Organization, United Nations, and G7/G20. With over 15 years of experience advancing health services for marginalized communities in Canada and internationally, Ayah has also held roles at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), and Healthcare Excellence Canada. She holds a PhD in Health Systems Research and an Adjunct Faculty appointment at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation.
