Student Systems

The Student Systems Team supports faculty and departmental student services by leveraging university IT systems to streamline processes and implement effective automation. They develop PeopleSoft queries, manage databases and enhance Google tools through scripting to improve efficiency and performance.

The team plays a key role in maintaining the Bear Tracks Academic Advisement Report, helping students monitor their academic progress and better understand program changes, while reducing manual workload for staff. They also collaborate with student services to ensure academic standing rules in Campus Solutions are accurate and up to date, supporting clear and reliable transcript outcomes. Through ongoing analysis and cross-campus partnerships, the team continues to identify opportunities to improve systems and reduce manual processes.
