Early this week Dr. Janet Squires (doctoral student at KUSP 2006-2010) was notified of her selection as a recipient of one of two 2011-2012 IHSPR Rising Star Awards for her article:
"To what extent do nurses use research in clinical practice? A systematic review".

Janet will receive $1000 and funding to cover travel costs to attend the CAHSPR 2012 conference in Montreal and complimentary conference registration. The Rising Star Award will be presented at the CAHSPR 2012 conference "Networking Lunch and Awards Presentations" on Wednesday, May 30th, 2012 .
