Dates and Timelines
MScPT 2026 Application Timeline
If you are applying to the MScPT program for 2026, please review the following application timeline to ensure you are aware of important dates and deadlines:
- November 1, 2025: Application opens
- January 15, 2026: International student application deadline (applicants with a full degree obtained from an institution outside North America)
- February 1, 2026: Domestic student application deadline
- February 1, 2026: Transcript(s) due
- June 1, 2026: Final transcript(s) due for applicants offered conditional admission
- Preliminary admission decisions (refused or invited to an interview) will be sent to applicants in early March 2026
- April 11-12, 2026: Interviews. More information on the interview process/format will be provided to interview invitees.
- Final Admission Decisions (refused/ waiting list/ offers) made in May and June 2026
- Offers to students on the waiting list can be made up until the end of July 2026 (depending on seat availability)
- July 29-30 2026: Mandatory Orientation (all students in Edmonton)
MScPT Program Flowchart
Academic courses and clinical placements are offered over the fall, winter and spring/summer sessions. These terms are coordinated into Blocks of study, which are outlined in this Flowchart.
