Dr. Margaret Law to conduct CFLA-FCAB organizational review

Dr. Margaret Law, SLIS Academic Adjunct Colleague, has been appointed by the CFLA-FCAB to complete a 3-month organizational review.

The School of Library and Information Studies is excited to announce that SLIS Academic Adjunct Colleague, Dr. Margaret Law, has been appointed by the CFLA-FCAB to complete an organizational review over the next 3 months. Dr. Law has a storied career in public, academic and special libraries, including positions with the University of Alberta, Edmonton Public Library, regional library systems, and library consortia. Dr. Law's private practice focuses on organization development and her deep knowledge of the sector combined with her record of success in supporting organizational excellence will benefit CFLA-FCAB greatly in the next stage of their transformative work.

Part of Dr. Law's scope of work will include supporting board-committee relations and supporting the implementation of the recommendations from the governance review. She will also be supporting the board in determining how CFLA-FCAB should be resourced in order to achieve their strategic priorities and continue to offer value to their members.
