Request a Deferred Exam
As per the Absence from Final Exams section of the University Calendar, deferred exams are only granted in the case of:
- incapacitating mental and/or physical illness,
- severe domestic affliction or
- for circumstances as described in the University’s Discrimination and Harassment Policy and Accommodation Policy (including religious belief)

It is important for you to fill out this form accurately and completely. Failure to do so may result in a delayed decision or a denied application.
Once evaluation has been completed and a decision has been made you will be notified.
Please note: Decisions on deferred exam applications cannot be made until after the final exam has taken place. In most cases, you will not hear back from us until then. For more information pertaining to deferred exams, see the Absence from Final Exams section in the University Calendar.
SCIForms
Current Faculty of Science students can access program related forms in the SCIForms portal. This includes Major/Minor/Honors declaration forms, documents requests, requests for course overload and more .
