Wage subsidies

There are a number of wage subsidies available when hiring a post-secondary student for an internship. Please find more information about each program in the different sections.

Confirming Academic Status

For subsidies requiring confirmation of a student's academic status, please have the student send an email with "Time Sensitive: Requesting Letter Confirming Academic Status" in the subject line to: science.internship@ualberta.ca. 

The email should mention the employer, which subsidy they're applying for along with its deadline for submission, and include the student's full name and student ID number.
