The Alberta Cryo-EM Facility is equipped to train interested faculty, trainees, and staff in the following areas:

- Grid preparation
- Image acquisition & analysis

Course in single particle cryoEM
A graduate-level course in single particle cryo-EM theory and practice will be offered every winter semester through the Department of Biochemistry. This course will go through microscope hardware, the theory of image formation in an electron microscope, image processing, processing pipelines, grid preparation, microscope usage, model building, and figure preparation. A 1-2 week workshop will also be offered in future years.
