MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND ENRICH YOUR LEARNING

Volunteer with the Sustainability Council!

The Sustainability Council Volunteer Program is a hub for volunteer opportunities from our office and from our partners across campus. Get involved with a community that has been working on sustainability initiatives on campus for over a decade.

Our volunteers contribute to many projects throughout the year, including Week of Welcome, Open House, the Foundations Summit for Sustainability and Leadership (FSSL), and the Campus Sustainability Leaders Awards. There are additional opportunities to volunteer with our partners on campus.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to contribute while learning valuable skills and gaining knowledge in sustainability. No prior experience required!

Volunteering pays back!

  • Working with SC Interns, SC Staff, and making connections with faculty, staff and students
  • Annual appreciation events
  • Expand network and make lasting friendships and relationships
  • Gain sustainability knowledge and expertise through work with various campus sustainability partners
  • Gain practical skills and improve communication skills
