Faculty of Engineering Research Groups

The Faculty of Engineering is home to a wide range of research groups with varying focuses, including the Construction Innovation Centre, the Canadian Centre for Joining and Welding and the Water Research Centre.

Institute for Oil Sands Innovation

The Imperial Institute for Oil Sands Innovation (IOSI) is a partnership between the Faculty of Engineering, Imperial Oil Limited, and Alberta Innovates. IOSI supports post-secondary researchers as well as companies focused on research and development

Nasseri School of Building Science and Engineering

The Nasseri School of Building Science and Engineering fosters research and education in building and construction sciences. The school's vision is to emerge as a nerve centre for innovation, industry collaboration and the training of future building engineers.
