New Payment Plan Pilot for International Students
23 July 2026
The new Payment Plan Pilot for eligible international undergraduate and graduate students is being launched for Fall 2026.
Delivered through the PayMyTuition portal, this new online payment plan marks an important milestone in improving international graduate and undergraduate students' experience. It responds directly to growing student demand for more tuition payment options, and will be offered for both the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms.
What does this mean for students?
Eligible students can divide tuition, faculty fees and mandatory non-instructional fees into four scheduled payments over the term, helping them balance educational costs with competing cost-of-living pressures.
Student Enrolment Periods: Fall 2026 (August 15 - September 30) and Winter 2027 (December 15 - January 29)
Important notes:
- The pilot is available to international undergraduate and graduate students only.
- GTA/GRA students receive payroll deductions, therefore cannot enroll in the payment plan.
- Delivered through the PayMyTuition portal, this self-directed online system automatically notifies students whenever a payment is due.
- Any outstanding balances from previous terms must be paid in full before a student can enroll in the payment plan via the PayMyTuition portal.
- The payment plan applies only to credit tuition, faculty fees and mandatory non-instructional fees.
- Residence fees, emergency loans, faculty-level non-credit courses and continuing education courses are not included.
