University Initiatives Office
The University Initiatives Office was established to coordinate complex and cross-functional strategic initiatives across the University of Alberta. The UIO is focused on implementing solutions to improve the experience of employees who access university services and for employees working within these business processes.
The UIO is working alongside colleges and service units on the following initiatives:
- review of human resources administrative services and development of a roadmap to implement improvements;
- development of an enterprise resource planning strategy and roadmap;
- improvement of research administration processes;
- review of work integrated learning in the College of Health Sciences;
- HR process improvement through initiatives under PEAC; and
- development and consultation for Budget Model 2.0.
