Indigenous Student Pathways 

WISEST recognizes and is committed to ensuring that our programs and applications reflect diversity, equity and inclusion. We recognize that there are historical and ongoing barriers for Indigenous students in accessing academic programs, as such, WISEST has created pathways for our Summer Research Program. 

Pathways recognizes diverse lived experiences and educational journeys. When you apply on the application form, please self-identify as a First Nations, Métis or Inuit Applicant and you will automatically be considered for pathways.

Note: If you are Afro-Indigenous, you may choose to apply through either pathway, and we will work to have a mixed panel of Indigenous and Black adjudicators evaluate your application.
