Roles

Senior Leader

  • Must be entering their third year or greater of Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree program and have participated in a previous cohort

Junior Leader

  • Must be entering their second year or greater of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree program

Requirements

Student leaders complete a minimum of 20 volunteer hours between August and April, participating in the following required events:

  • New Student Orientation: Monday, Aug. 31
  • Open House: Saturday, Oct. 17

In order to reach the 20-hour minimum, student leaders will have the opportunity to volunteer for student engagement initiatives including:

  • Health and wellness events 
  • High school outreach and recruitment sessions
  • Peer mentorship with first year engineering students 

Student leaders who complete a total of 20 volunteer hours between August and April are eligible to receive a reference letter from the Faculty of Engineering.

Applications: Feb. 3 - Apr. 24
Interviews: Ongoing until Apr. 28
Decisions released: May 6
