About his journey: I went through Bridges orientation (for First Nation, Metis and Inuit students) and the general first-year orientation and seeing this group of people who come together-and celebrating my culture instead of looking down on it-was very empowering. I never considered that I would be so proud of who I am at such a fundamental level."
He's now considering specializing in environmental remediation. "If I'm doing anything I'd like to be working in reclamation, restoring that which was before."
