Did you know the very first dinosaurs to be put on public display in Alberta were here at the U of A in 1935? See how dinosaurs are prepared and preserved, touch real dinosaur bones, and learn about the paleontology work currently being done by students and researchers at the U of A.
Sign up at the Information Tent in Quad. Tours depart from the Information Tent. You must be at the Tent 20 minutes prior to the tour start time. Volunteers will escort guests to the Dino Lab.
Important Notes:
- Tours are 45 minutes in length
- You must sign up in advance at the Info Tent, and be there
- The guided portion of the Dino Lab tour is given in a formatted style and is approximately 25 minutes in duration, with approximately 20 minutes for the display area.
- Maximum capacity is 10 people per tour.
- Please note the Dino Lab is not fully wheelchair accessible.
