C.H.E.W. Project
The Community Health Empowerment & Wellness (C.H.E.W.) Project is a community-based initiative supported by funding from Region 6. C.H.E.W. offers front line service provision, resources and education for LGBTQ2SA+ youth and young adults facing barrier between 14 -29 years of age. These barriers include mental health, poverty, homelessness, substance use, sexual health, and other Queer related barriers. The C.H.E.W project offers no cost counselling, crisis intervention, Indigenous Peer Support, community outreach STI Testing, drop in office for basic needs and support and others.

OUTpost Information
- Sexual health supplies (e.g., condoms, dental dams)
- STI testing completed by the Edmonton STI Clinic's outreach staff
- Harm reduction supplies (e.g., needle exchange and other gear, naloxone kits)
- Personal hygiene products.
- Clothing
- Food
- Crisis intervention.
- Counselling services.
- Traditional smudge supplies.
- Support for families, service providers, youth, and newcomer LGBTQ2S+ Canadians.
- A warm and safe environment.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
