Welcome to IT SUPPORT FROM IST!

IST is pleased to be the single point of contact for your IT needs. To help ease your transition to IST we have included information on how to submit a support request, identified changes to your faculty/unit IT support, and added helpful links below.

Information Services & Technology (IST) is a team of 250+ IT professionals that enable and support the core mission of research, teaching and learning at the University of Alberta. We support technology experiences across the institution from your desktop (computer, software, printer, enterprise applications), to the classroom (instructor tools, eClass), to the university at large (security, networks, data centers, server hosting,...) — our services cover the full spectrum of enterprise needs.

When you contact IST, your request will be received by our Service Desk and assigned a ticket number.
