Dr. Jason Plemel received Fall 2025 CIHR Project Grants
Researchers from the University of Alberta’s College of Health Sciences have been awarded more than $16.5 million in funding through the Fall 2025 Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Project Grant competition, underscoring the strength and breadth of health research across the College.
Dr. Anastassia Voronova received Killam Accelerator Research Award
The Killam Accelerator Research Award was established in November 2018, funded from the generous Izaak Walton and Dorothy Killam bequest, to address the needs of an under-served group of researchers that merits targeted investment. The award is granted on a competitive basis to early career faculty members who are within six years of having taken up their first tenure track appointment.
