SSHRC Wordle

The Grant Assist Program, Social Sciences and Humanities was an initiative offered by the Office of the Vice-President (Research & Innovation) from 2011 to 2020. It succeeded in enhancing the quality and competitiveness of applications to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and other major research competitions. Supports available to continuing faculty members, described as the "Toolkit for Success", are being restructured into the Research Services Office's "Research Relationships" team, where the GAP directors have been appointed as Senior Advisors, Research Grant Development.  The Senior Advisors and Research Facilitators support the development of research proposals to SSHRC by providing proposal development resources such as grant review, workshops, editing, submission guideline documents and general support. Contact us to discuss your prospective proposal.  New supports continue to be developed (eg: The Research Whisperer Hour).
