Ann Marie Ross “I always had a passion for helping others. ATEP gave me a life long learning experience that enables me to fulfill my passion that also empowers my culture.”

Becky Cardinal “The red road to recovery has much sacred knowledge to be shared and passed on and is a way for people to get the help they need, but the white road to recovery is about learning academics is also important to move on in life. According to our elders, walking both roads balances spirit and intent with the academics/sciences. Our treaty right to education allows us to take the pink road in modern times and is likely what our ancestors intended us to do! The ATEP program allowed me to walk on both roads because I’m able to teach a unique kind of intelligence inspired by Cree ways for modern times.”

Bruce McGilvery “ The ATEP experience has fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. It has been a wonderful journey of self-discovery and confidence. If you want that in your life, challenge yourself to an education.

Jackie Steinhauer “My Aboriginal Teacher Education Program experience was one of gaining knowledge, building confidence and the opportunity to educate the beautify children from my community.”
