Online Career Development Courses

Alumni Relations is excited to offer premium-level professional development courses for alumni seeking to do some more in-depth learning on various topics. Our second offering, The Habit Course, launches January 23, 2023.

Professional Development Grants

Apply for an alumni-exclusive Professional Development Grant and get up to a maximum dollar value of $500 off the registration fee covered on one of the many continuing education courses and events offered at UAlberta. Applications accepted monthly.

Alumni-to-Alumni Mentorship

Alumni in the early stages of their careers are matched with alumni career mentors to help them develop business and interpersonal skills that will help advance their careers. The Alumni-to-Alumni Career Mentoring Program takes place over eight months, from April to the end of November. The applications for 2023 are now closed.

Career Centre

Apply for paid internships, search for jobs, and access other career support online or in person through the Career Centre (formerly CaPS).

Technology Training Centre

Alumni qualify for a 25% discount on computer training courses.

Faculty of Extension

The $100 program registration fee is waived for alumni who apply for Faculty of Extension programs.

Life After University
