Alumni Relations is excited to offer premium-level professional development courses for alumni seeking to do some more in-depth learning on various topics. Our second offering, The Habit Course, launches January 23, 2023.

This online, asynchronous course will help you gain a new perspective on how your habits work, implement new habits, and better manage energy and mitigate burnout. You will learn practical tools and techniques that thousands of people have used to create new habits.

The course materials will be available as on-demand videos and downloadable workbooks, allowing participants to engage in weekly sessions whenever convenient. There will be a LinkedIn group for this course where you can interact with other registrants and the instructor.

The deadline to register is January 23, 2023

We are pleased to offer a micro-credential badge in partnership with the University of Alberta’s Registrar’s Office for all five modules offered in this course. You can use the badge on your LinkedIn page and resume.

About Mycreds

The University of Alberta has been using the MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ network for the secure and trusted exchange of digital academic credentials since June 2021, including digital degree parchments, micro-credential badges and e-Transcripts. This pan-Canadian initiative mitigates credential fraud and supports Canadian learners as they move through their academic and professional careers. After the conference, you will automatically be issued a badge recognizing your attendance! For more information on how to access MyCreds, visit MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ website.

FGSR will count attendance at any of the conference sessions as Professional Development hours requirement for Grad Students.

More information will be provided in session on how to secure the PD credit and micro credential once the course is complete.
