Alberta North
CAMP FYREFLY 2023
We are planning to have overnight Camp in-person for 2023, adjusting as needed to keep us healthy and safe. At a minimum, steps will include strongly encouraging mask use, regular cleaning schedules, and requesting that folks experiencing symptoms do not attend. We will be updating these measures as needed.

Since 2004, Camp fYrefly Alberta North has gratefully gathered annually on Treaty 6 territory. The footsteps of diverse Indigenous peoples have marked this territory for thousands of years, including the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, and Nakota Sioux people. At Camp fYrefly we aspire for our work to acknowledge continuing colonial violence, honour the nation-to nation treaty relationship, and respect Indigenous knowledge and traditions.
Online - 2020, 2021
Camp was held online again for the 2021 season. As usual, our focus was fostering leadership and resilience through community building, workshops, wellness activities, crafts and more! Optional sessions and offline activities allowed a schedule that could fit each camper as needed!
