Artist in Residence

Each site develops their own Artist in Residence (AIR) Program. This program welcomes emerging and established regional and national artists who have demonstrated a commitment to innovation, exploration, community outreach, and education. The AIR is responsible for developing a program that incorporates arts from all disciplines into the Camp schedule, which may include: painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, video, music, literature, dance, conceptual and installation art, and contemporary performance.

Working collaboratively with our team, artists help to introduce new techniques, materials, and ideas designed to help youth explore various forms of expression through art. This facilitates individual growth within campers and is done in a safe and open environment.
