Masqueraded Network Conditions of Use

Right to Use

  • To use the Department of Computing Science's Masqueraded Network you must be a member of the faculty, staff or graduate students of the Department of Computing Science. You may also use it if you are a formally recognized guest of the Department of Computing Science.
  • You must register the MAC address of your network card with the TST via the online application form.
  • All users of the Department of Computing Science's Masqueraded Network are bound by the Department of Computing Science's Conditions of Use. If you are a student you are also bound by the University of Alberta's Code of Student Behavior
  • Failure to comply with the conditions in any or all of these documents will be dealt with by the Department of Computing Science and IST in accordance with University policy.

Release

  • I hereby release the University from liability for any loss, damage or injury which, I may sustain as a result of being allowed access to the Masqueraded Network, except any loss, damage or injury caused by the negligence of the Department of Computing Science. I agree to be solely responsible for any such loss, damage or injury.
