Here are this week’s updates for the U of A community:

Edmonton’s State of Local Emergency has lifted

This week the City of Edmonton lifted its State of Local Emergency. For the moment, various public health restrictions remain for our community, such as physical distancing and travel restrictions. Therefore, study and work for most U of A students and employees must continue remotely in order to safely manage our workspaces and avoid stresses on in-demand resources. Our current Campus Status can always be found at ualberta.ca/covid-19

NEW faculty and staff resources regarding on-campus work

The beauty of our campuses may be tempting, but it is of the utmost importance that our return to work on-campus be gradual. A series of new resources are available to support managers, faculty and staff in evaluating when a return to campus will be feasible for their team, and if so, the steps they must complete before doing so.

UPDATED FAQs for resuming on-campus research
