How you will be informed about a COVID risk on campus

The university has a comprehensive COVID-19 Rapid Response Plan and will work closely with AHS in the event of a COVID-19 exposure on our campuses. The plan’s protocol for notifications explains when and how you will be informed should you be impacted.

Mask exemptions

As part of the university’s Safety Measures General Directives, students and staff are now able to review the Mask Exemption Procedures for those in need of an accommodation.

Masks in vending machines

Masks are now available in select vending machines on North Campus. You can find them in the Central Academic Building, Edmonton Clinic Health Academy, HUB Mall, Donadeo Innovation Centre for Engineering, Van Vliet Complex, Education, and Peter Lougheed Hall.

Dedicated email address for COVID-19-related employment questions

Human Resource Services has established a general inquiry email for employees who have COVID-19 employment-related questions. The hrs.covid19@ualberta.ca email account will be monitored daily and responses provided within one business day.

The dos and don'ts of staying connected during a pandemic

This year, being “together” has meant spending a lot of time with a screen. And it’s been hard. But we’ve figured out ways to stay safely and responsibly together while distant. And there is no reason for us to stop now. The pandemic hasn’t ended, so we need to continue to keep our distance. Here are some strategies for staying connected during a pandemic.

North Campus Bookstore is open

The Bookstore in SUB is open for in-person purchases. Orders can still be placed online and delivered or picked up in-person from the Bookstore (North Campus) or the Founders’ Hall Reception Desk (Augustana Campus).
