Heleen and Rod McLeod Postdoctoral Research Award in Hematological Cancers
Purpose
This award will support an outstanding postdoctoral scholar conducting research in the area of hematological cancers.
Eligibility
- Eligible candidates must hold a PhD and be conducting research on hematological cancers or intend to apply their current research expertise to hematological cancers
- Supervisor must be a member of the Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta (CRINA). Apply for membership
Value & Duration
The award is valued at $60,000 per year for 3 years

In addition, reference letters (maximum 2 pages each) from the supervisor and an individual who is not the current supervisor should be sent directly to crina@ualberta.ca.
Reporting Requirements
Interim reports are required at the end of the first and second years, and a final report at the end of the third year. The recipient must be willing to meet with the donor annually.
Communications & Acknowledgement
The Heleen and Rod McLeod Postdoctoral Research Award in Hematological Cancers and CRINA must be recognized in all publications, presentations, etc., resulting from the research.
