Celebrating Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium 2026

Graduate students showcased innovative research through oral presentations and poster sessions, while more than 50 industry partners joined the Industry–Student Mixer that closed the symposium.

More than 500 people gathered over three days for the 2026 Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium, held August 19–21 under the theme Engineering Without Boundaries: Towards a Resilient Future. Graduate students showcased innovative research through oral presentations and poster sessions, while more than 50 industry partners joined the Industry–Student Mixer that closed the symposium.

Congratulations to this year’s poster award winners: Manh Hai Hoang, Matthew Sasakamoose, Ghanim Saqib, Tuhin Chandra, Shirin Mohammadi, Jihan Hashisho, Soo Jee Do, Omid Mahdi Zadeh and Ahnaf Naheen.
