The modern state of Iran stands on the shoulders of ancient Persia stretching back over 3000 years. Shi Islam has shaped its government since the Islamic Revolution of 1979. The United States is being reshaped by a new populism led by President Trump and his inner circle. What is shared? What is the pathway forward? Is there a shared spiritual ethos?

This event is part of the Philosopher's Café series with David Goa, presented by the Chester Ronning Centre.
