The Alberta School of Business, in partnership with CPA Alberta, presents Mind Your Business: Making Sense of Big Data, on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
Data is being generated at an unprecedented pace, and businesses are increasingly expected to make sense of it. From customer insights and operational efficiency to forecasting and risk management, big data has the potential to inform smarter, more confident decision-making. But how can organizations cut through the noise and use data in a way that is practical and meaningful?
Join us for a panel discussion with Stan Korsountsev (AI and Data Delivery, Deloitte), Julia Cruz (experience product and delivery lead, Government of Alberta) and Borzou Rostami (Academic Director of the Master of Management Analytics, and Director of the AI Centre for Decision Analytics at the U of A). Along with moderator Rachel Miller (CEO, CPA Alberta), these panelists will explore how businesses can leverage big data to support strategy, improve performance and stay competitive in a rapidly changing environment.
In a rapidly evolving business landscape, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) face unique challenges and opportunities. That’s why the Alberta School of Business, in partnership with CPA Alberta, is excited to present the SME Insight Series: Mind Your Business. This engaging series is designed to empower SMEs with actionable insights across a variety of critical topics, from financial management and marketing strategies to technology adoption and operational efficiency.
