Pride Week Opening Ceremony and Pride Parade

Bring your colleagues and friends to celebrate and show solidarity with our 2SLGBTQ+ community at our Pride Parade. The Opening Ceremony will feature a nêhiyaw welcoming by Associate Professor Dr. Lana Whiskeyjack, remarks from MLAs Janis Irwin, Brooks Arcand-Paul, and Leader of the Official Opposition Naheed Nenshi, and remarks from Fyrefly's Executive Director, Glynnis Lieb, and Fyrefly's Programs Manager, Evan Westfal. The event will feature drag performances by Ladonna Cree and GoGo Fetch, and and student performer, MAT E!
