Afro-Latin Dance and Music Night

Tickets with Valid Student ID: $7.77 (Promo Code: STUDENT) *ticket is void without current Student ID

Join International Education and Enrolment and FALAC.org for a special concert celebrating International Week and Black History Month. #WinterisCancelled

This event brings together two distinct musical traditions for a collaborative performance. The night features Manny V, representing Latin and Salsa sounds, and Mbira Renaissance, sharing Zimbabwean and Afro-Fusion music.

Rather than a standard concert format, the bands will trade sets throughout the evening, highlighting the connections between African and Latin rhythms. The show concludes with a communal jam session featuring musicians from both groups.

The evening also includes DJ sets by SPÖRA and a guided dance activation by Groove with Ivan (volunteer host), welcoming the audience to join in and move.
