Orientation for Students Who Parent

Connect with other students who are parents and learn about the support and resources available to you! Whether you’re a new student or a returning student but a new parent, join us to learn about the resources available to you on and off campus. This is a family-friendly event! Toys, books and colouring options will be available.

Following the orientation session, there will be a Q&A period.

• 12 - 1 p.m. information session
• 1 - 2 p.m. optional tour of campus (in-person only)

Join us in-person (due to high registration, the location for this event has been changed): 

• New location: Orion Room (0-46), Lower Level, Students' Union Building (SUB) | 8900 114 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 1R8, University of Alberta. 

• Directions: The nearest parking to the Students' Union building (8900 114 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 1R8) is the Stadium Car Park. You can access the lower level directly approaching from 89 Ave. Otherwise, there are stairs down to the lower level from the entrance to the east, and an elevator is available near the Campus Food Bank.
  One on the lower level, head past Filistix down the hallway on the north side of the building. The Orion room is down the hallway on the left side. You will see an Orientation standing banner.
