Red Eye is our overnight event with a variety of unique and fun team sports hosted over a wide variety of facility spaces here on campus! This event is designed to be a fun, social, and recreational opportunity. The focus of the “Red Eye” is friendly competition, physical activity, team cooperation and sportsmanship. The Red Eye events were selected to include all of these elements. Over the course of one evening 22 teams will compete in a variety of activities with the goal of being declared the Red Eye Recreation Champions.
REGISTRATION Team - Each team can have a maximum of 3 non-current U of A students.
PLAYERS 10 v 10 students only
OFFICIATING Self-officiated GAMES 11 different sports Red Eye teams must have a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 15 participants. Each team must have a maximum of 7 of any single gender identity in the game. Teams will play a variety of different games throughout the night / early morning with a variety of ratio requirements. Students only.
