The Office of the Dean of Students and the Students’ Union are working together to expand support for parents across campus. Join us on May 30 to celebrate Global Day of Parents and the grand opening of our new campus lactation pod for parents on the go.
Everyone is welcome to attend and bring their little ones for family-friendly fun, including games and drawing activities! Learn about this new facility and discover other parent-friendly initiatives at the U of A.
About the lactation pod
The new lactation pod provides parents with a comfortable and convenient space to pump or nurse on campus. Located on the main floor of the Students’ Union Building, across from the elevators, the pod is available to all students and employees on a first-come, first-served basis. Access can be gained by downloading the free Mamava app or by contacting the Office of the Dean of Students at 780-492-4145 or dosdean@ualberta.ca.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to create a parent-friendly university.
