Human Ecology Tour

Visit the Human Ecology Gallery to see it's current exhibition, "Where the Light Falls", co-curated by Dr. Megan Strickfaden and students from the Material Culture in Practice course.

This exhibit invites viewers to dive into the stories told by the objects and spaces illuminated or hidden to others. In the daily art of getting dressed we navigate the politics of our bodies, in which we unintentionally blend influences. Through this process, we negotiate a private dressing sequence culminating in a public appearance. As the light falls upon us the careful negotiation of our public and private selves begins. Everyone is welcome.

This is a self-guided tour. Please go directly to 1-15 Human Ecology Building on North Campus. A volunteer will be available to direct guests to a nearby accessible entrance.

Schedule

Tours are available Sept 17 - 19, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. each day. Plan for approximately 20 minutes.
