Maya Gordon, TEP | Partner, Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP

Maya Gordon is a Partner at Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP. As an estate lawyer, Maya helps individuals and families craft comprehensive estate plans. This involves preparing Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Personal Directives, and where necessary preparing additional documents including family trusts. She also works with executors, administrators and trust companies with estate administration duties, with the goal of bringing an estate to completion.

Maya is recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Trusts and Estates since 2022. She has taught the class entitled “Wills and Administration” with another sessional instructor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta since January 2019. Beyond her wills and estates work, Maya has been a member of the firm’s professional regulatory team for many years.



Hilary Fabrizio, CFRE | Development Associate, Planned Giving, University of Alberta

Hilary Fabrizio is a professional fundraiser and proud alumna of the University of Alberta. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), she works in partnership with friends, alumni and donors to bring their philanthropic visions to life. Since 2018, she has helped countless families establish endowments and incorporate philanthropy into their estate plans. She is a big believer in the power of strategic philanthropy to create lasting impact.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, (learning to) garden, and chasing after her two young kids!
