GFC/Appeals Committee Replenishment Timeline and Deadlines


The GFC Nominating Committee (NC) meets each spring to replenish faculty, staff, and student seats on the Committees of General Faculties Council (GFC), University-level Appeal Bodies, and other University-wide Committees to which GFC elects. At its May meeting, NC makes recommendations to fill Staff and Student Vacancies. Recommendations to fill in-year vacancies are made as needed throughout the year.
 

Application Deadlines (*Extended!*)

Application deadlines are communicated to the broader university along with a call for applications.

TERMS OF OFFICE FOR STUDENTS & STAFF

  • Student terms run July 1 to June 30, for a 1-year term.
  • Staff terms run July 1 to June 30, normally for a 3-year term.
